First off, we want to thank you for the show of support as we get Flying Lemur Game Studio (FLGS) off the ground.

So, the first question you might have is: Why start a new game publishing company? Especially in this day and age when there are so many companies producing some really good games. The answer is somewhat easy: After so many years in the gaming industry working for and with other companies, we believe we have something to offer the community. We have seen a lot of great games at events such as the UK Game Expo and Essen that do very well overseas and deserve to be brought to the English speaking market worldwide. Initially, we are focusing on licensing games from publishers on the “other side of the pond”. Our first, of course, is North American Railways, which we’ll talk about in a future Publisher’s Notebook entry. We’re working on some others – some of which are from big name designers – while also taking submissions from game designers across the globe in an effort to produce original board and card games as well.
